As our scene fades in, we find Mercedes walking along the dirty deserted backstreets of Stockholm, Sweden. It was a narrow gap between two terrance houses built years ago. Garbage whisked around her and lay pinned against the curb and she scuttled on things underfoot. Mercedes walks on diving her attention between the ground and the camera.

“I didn't get pinned. JT Midas got pinned. So, no, I didn't lose. I'm part of the Mean Girls and for the past two weeks we're like Charlie Sheen - WINNING. I told you back in November that the Metal and Punk Connection would lose in their first defense as Bombshell Tag Team Champions, even predicted that The Fallen would walk out with the titles. Two months later at Inception, it happened. I said that the Mean Girls would be all over the SCW World Tour and we've done just that. I predicted that Amanda and Veronica would one day be tag team champions in 2015 as my New Year's resolution. And as it turns out, I was right again.”

Makes you wonder what else Mercedes could be right about. Tomorrow's weather report? Sports scores? Stock quotes? Lotto numbers? OK, let's not get TOO carried away. Her prediction that she and JT Midas would get past Andrew and Misty was a hit-and-miss. But then again, she did avoid getting pinned by Misty for the fourth time - all tag team affairs, mind you. If anything, the saying that it's better to be lucky than good still holds true. Mercedes just happens to be both.

“Two weeks ago, I think what we did needed to happen. We Mean Girls voiced our concerns with SCW management and a broken system. There is no question that after waht happened that show, we are the most DOMINANT stable in SCW history. Forget the New Extremes, forget the Daughters of Darkness, forget Team Erik, forget any of the stables that came here before or since in this company. Mean Girls are forever. We run this town, we run the Bombshells Division. No, we are the Queens of the Bombshells Division and the rest of these bitches are just challengers to the throne. Anyone else - the basics, masics and the Jealous Janis Army among you - are just trying to take a run at our crown.”

Mercedes stands for a minute and from the corner of her eye, vermin scatter in their domain searching for scraps and causing her to step back briefly. Funny, the pictures in the brochure were so much nicer and glossier. She shutters a bit after this brief encounter and tightens her overcoat, then continues on.

"Misty advances to the final four two weeks ago, Necra won her match and now they face each other this weekend. Either could possibly be the favorites to win the tournament. But if and when they decide to cash in on Delia, their golden opportunity will only turn out to be a wasted opportunity. It's not like that hasn't happened to them already. Misty has been beaten, Necra has had two title matches in two weeks - two! - she failed in both. Her overall track record in Bombshell matches speaks for itself. It would be funny if it weren't so sad.”

Mercedes laughs obnoxiously and continues walking while looking downward.

“With the exception of Amanda, I don't give a damn which Bombshell wins the tournament with their partner at Blaze of Glory, the Bombshell Championship will remain with the Mean Girls.

She stops and when she looks up, her expression holds a determined stance that made her convinced she was right. The camera closes in on her face.

“And if Amanda doesn't win the tournament, the Bombshell Championship will remain with Delia Darling until she is good and ready to lose it, and I don't see that happening anytime soon. Even though I suffered an ugly loss, in the end, beauty is never tarnished when you're a Mean Girl.”

She adds a smirk.

“I've already said that 2015 will be our year, but you don't have to take my word for it.”

She grins while holding up her hands innocently.

“You've all seen it for yourselves. Sorry, not sorry.”

“Contrary to popular belief, Jade Manendez-Arcador was never a Bombshell Roulette Champion.”

True story. Our scene opens on Mercedes Vargas, seen here at a local bistro in Stockholm. The place is alive with the regulars and the usual outfit. Mercedes is seen sitting at a table.

“So the match description for my match this weekend is pretty interesting. Among other things, it poses a question. Says that I've beaten them all, but wonders if I have faced anyone the size and as formidable as the amazon-like Natalie McKinley? Well, I just beat Traci Patterson not so long ago, if that's any consolation. But contrary to popular belief, Nattie, you and I have met before.”

[Silly match writers. How could they have missed this one?]

Now, Natalie, what I'm about to show you may come as a shock to you, but don't worry, after watching this footage, everything will start to make sense.”

Mercedes reaches for her ipad and, after a few swipes and clicks, a footage plays from the final moments from Violent Counduct II back in September. It's the final moments from the four-way surival match for Necra's Bombshell Roulette Championship, also involving Mercedes and Natalie and Joanne Canelli. The footage continues as Mercedes divides her attention between the camera and watching the match.

“It was the night, Nattie, where the Mean Girls finally arrived in the Bombshells Division. The night where Veronica Taylor and Liz Smalls ended the forgettable reign of the Metal and Punk Connection, where Delia Darling crushed Vixen and any chance of her saving SCW's top prize. But, more importantly, if pictures are worth a thousand words, then I guess a video speaks volumes. Because on the night, not only have we met before, but contrary to popular belief, I pinned YOU in the Four Corners Survival match to start my current reign as Bombshell Roulette Champion.

"Looks like Misty isn't the only one suffering from amnesia, huh?”

Mercedes looks back at the footage in time to see her hit the Mercy Shot on Natalie - and comically reacting to it and mouthing "ouch" in reverie - before it was all academic and the 3-count. The footage fades on Mercedes being handed the championship to the shock and horror of Necra. Mercedes shakes her head, placing her iPad down and turns back to the camera.

“Natalie, why couldn't you go after the Bombshell Internet Championship and Joanne Canelli? I mean, let's face it, we both know that her current challengers for her title won't be too much of a hassle.”

She manages a deadpan expression, then drops it as she quickly snaps her fingers.

“Oh, but wait. Joanne is leaving SCW, so that just leaves Krissy and Roxi fighting over it now at Blaze of Glory. Don't get me wrong, the new girl has been moderately impressive, and Roxi Johnson is a match or two away from losing her smile, if she hasn't already. She had Krissy beat last show, but, like the Seahawks in the Super Bowl, Roxi gave the match away. If you were in that match, Nattie, I'm sure you would have made a great Bombshell Internet Champion. But noooo. You want to come after me, right? What, do I have a permanent "kick me" sign on my back or something?”

Despite the strain on her neck, Mercedes looks over her shoulder and then, finding nothing, turns back to the camera and offers a shrug.

“Now, I saw your little heartwarming segment with one Simon Jones at Climax Control this past week. And to be honest with you, I wasn't surprised at your mentor's reaction after what happened to him the previous week. While he goes back to his simple life, I'm sure he'll be cheering you on watching our match.

“But tell me something, why did you leave, Natalie? Didn't think you could cut it so you went elsewhere? It's too bad you couldn't cut it there either, so you returned home. After all, home is where the heart is. You showed up two shows ago in your hometown, won your return match. I guess I'm not all too surprised that you want my title. So, thanks to SCW top brass, they give you a non-title against me. It's about the smartest thing they've done this year. For the last five months, I've been facing girls who never earned title shots and every other week or supershow, I defeat them without too much trouble, so I'm hoping, wishing, and praying that you try your darndest to earn the match you so desperately want against me.

“I love your spirit, I love your determination, and I'll even go so far as give you the benefit of the doubt. You want my title? All you have to do is beat me this weekend. But if you don't, you won't. It's as simple as that.”

Mercedes offers a slight smirk, adding a shrug. Many would call this a zero sum game for the Bombshell upstart.

“Unless, of course, you rather make this difficult. Yeah, we can do that too. I'm going to make you work to get that rematch with me, Natalie, and you better hope that all the training Simon puts you through is well worth it. If you want another crack at this title, MY title, you will have to work twice as hard. But will you put in half the effort?

"Maybe you should cut your losses and run. You are right about one thing, though. If you beat me on Sunday, I'm still the Bombshell Roulette Champion. And if you and I were to have a rematch at Blaze of Glory IV, this time for all the marbles, I'll be sure to STILL continue my reign as the longest tenured Sin City Wrestling Bombshell Roulette Champion.

""You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. You've got one shot, Nattie. Better hope you make it count."
